Hello
I’m Juliana Serrato, an integrative psychotherapist. I help people navigate life's challenges by being compassionate and non judgemental. With a solid academic background and extensive professional experience, I offer a creative approach to psychotherapy, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. In our sessions there are no forbidden topics, and I will draw from different therapeutic modalities to help you develop self-awareness and reflect on your thoughts, behaviours and feelings.
About me
Over the years, I have gained a lot of experience working in diverse settings, such as the NHS Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Services, where I support individuals facing mental health challenges and learning disabilities as well as their carers. I also spent a few years with Mind UK, focusing on mental health support and advocacy. I'm LGBTQI+ friendly and mindful of how marginalised identities such as race, disability or sexuality can impact people and their relationships.
My Approach
Drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic, solution-focused, and person-centred approaches, I am able to tailor my therapy to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client, ensuring a holistic and supportive experience. My goal is to build a strong, trusting relationship with my clients, empowering them to develop strategies that enhance their quality of life. I understand that every person's journey is unique, and I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
